COOL EARTH 2010

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Councils Environment, Culture and Community Department are proud to present Cool Earth 2010 at the Festival of World Cultures; a two day environmental exhibition that will illustrate simple ways to reduce your carbon footprint!

Sat 24TH and Sun 25TH July, Concourse, County Hall, Dun Laoghaire 11am – 6pm, FREE

SATURDAY 24TH JULY

“Enda Reilly & Band” - Folk pop country music singer songwriter incl. environmental themed songs; Polar Bear and Oxygen 21

12.30 – 13.45

“Hiralal and Ramji” - Hiralal & Ramji belong to the Gandharba music community, in Hindu mythology 'Gandharbas' are the winged musicians of Gods. These talented musicians performing on the Sarangi and Madal preserve the essence of Nepalese folk music.

13.45 - 14.30

SUNDAY 25TH JULY

“Barrie Cassidy” - Irish Singer/Songwriter and musician. Years of travelling and diverse musical experiences has helped him to create an original sound fusing elements of reggae, ragga, salsa, chanson afrobeat and folk music.

12.30 – 13.45

“Philip Horan and Junshi Murakami” – A blend of Irish and Japanese gems played on the Japanese bamboo flute or shakuhachi and the Irish harp.
